Šmejc, Martin ; Tejchman, Miroslav (advisor) ; Šesták, Miroslav (referee)
Martin Šmejc Abstract: "Conception of reconstruction of Yugoslavia after WW II." The topic "Conception of reconstruction of Yugoslavia after WW II." covers three different phenomena. The most important factor, that determined the development of Yugoslavia during the WW II., was the coming to power of the communist Partisans led by Josip Broz Tito. Their vision of Yugoslavia's reconstruction after the war was defined during the second session of the AVNOJ in Bosnian town Jajce in November 1943. How should according to those visions reconstructed Yugoslavia look like is one of the research questions this thesis is going to answer. The second phenomenon touches upon the conceptions of Yugoslavia's reconstruction by the royal Yugoslav governments in exile. Their project was quite as important as of the Partisans. Their importance resides in the fact that until March 1945, when a united government of Royalists and Partisans based on Tito-Šubašić agreement was created, the government in exile were considered as the only legitimate representatives of Yugoslavia. The third analyzed phenomenon is the impact of the three Allied powers on the situation of Yugoslavia until 1948. The third question posed in this analysis will determine the scope of influence of the USA, UK and USSR on the development of Yugoslavia -...
Slovenia's Road to Independence
Mašínská, Klára ; Tejchman, Miroslav (advisor) ; Šístek, František (referee)
Bachelor thesis Slovenia's Road to Independence deals with development of Slovenia after the death of Tito in 1980 until year 1991, when Slovenia declared its independence. It also shortly includes development before 1980, because these events are equally important for development in this area. There has been during this time more or less conflicts between Slovenia and the rest of Yugoslavia, which pushed through centralization and wanted to keep united Yugoslavia, while in Slovenia took the lead liberal communists. Slovenia profited from the support of Germany, Austria and Vatican during its road to independence. However Slovenia profited from more advantages - geographic location, ethnic homogeneity or favourable economic situation. But Slovenia still saw one option to remain in Yugoslavia - transformation from federation to the confederation. With this transformation is associated release of relations within the federation, but it was rejected by the leadership of Yugoslavia. After a unequivocal referendum about independence, was proclaimed independence in June 1991, which, however, did not recognize Yugoslavia and broke out the Ten-Day War, which fortunately did not brought about great loss of life. After acceptance of Brioni Declaration Slovenia became fully independent country with...

These differences are researched through an online questionnaire sent to people which are holding Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian citizenship (only Muslims without ethnic Serbs or Croats living in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and which are living both inside and outside the former Yugoslavia.. These three citizenships were...
